Terroir
The vines for producing CHINON Rosé are situated in the Vienne Valley on light clayey gravelly soils, which always benefit from the close fresh groundwater of the Vienne River.
 
Vines
This cuvée, called by the name of Christophe BAUDRY's daughters, is vinified with CABERNET FRANC.
 
Vinification
The grapes are selected and totally destalked. The ROSE is produced by the "saignée" and “pressurage” method : cold maceration of the juice and the grape skins for 12 to 24 hours. The fermentation temperature is maintained between 16/18°C. The fermentation time is about three weeks.
  
Tasting notes
Salmon-hued colour, intense nose of exotic fruits with aromas of peach and citrus fruits. In the mouth it is sweet and fruity. It is refreshing in the summer and ideal to accompany spicy meals.
