Terroir
The Domaine de la Perriere is situated in the heart of the famous gravel terroir of CRAVANT LES COTEAUX. Thanks to the well-drained, gravelly soil, the vines are able to draw just enough water from the abundant groundwater of the Vienne River.
Vinification
The harvest is totally destalked. The temperature control allows soft fermentations which respect the aromas of fresh fruits.
Tasting notes
A brilliant garnet colour with hints of purple, a clearly fruity nose of cherry, raspberry and red currant, a supple and soft palate. Typical character : a full and fruity red wine.
Tasting Tips
It should be drunk at an early age or after 2 to 3 years. It goes well with poultry, white meat, and goat's cheese.
Serving Temperature : 14/16°C (57/61°F).
